I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in NY & CT and specialize in treating eating disorders, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. My practice here at Authenticity NYC Psychology is rooted in the values of authenticity, purpose, and creativity which guides my therapeutic framework. With over 15 years working with individuals with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health struggles, I have a passion for this work and supporting individuals in finding their purpose and meaning, embracing their full potential, and being comfortable with their authentic selves.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in existential and humanistic psychology-finding and making meaning intrinsically and extrinsically. I am a person-centered therapist at heart which empowers the individuals I get to support to embrace the ownership in their healing journey. I incorporate trauma-informed and evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). We will collaborate to create a therapy plan that fits uniquely for you. You are the expert on your own life and experiences, and my role is to be a support for you to identify and overcome obstacles in your healing path and strengthen the resources within yourself that make healing possible. I have witnessed many recovery stories and believe full recovery and healing is possible for each person.

As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and EMDR Trained Trauma Therapist, my mission at Authenticity NYC Psychology is to support you in reconnecting with your authentic self and overcoming experiences that have been barriers to living your life to the fullest.
